NBA Finals 2011: Will Miami Heat Exploit Dirk Nowitzki’s Finger Injury?
With the news that Dirk Nowitzki will wear a splint for Game 2, some may be speculating that the Miami Heat will look to exploit the injury.
While some players might be looking to slap the ball out of Nowitzki’s hands with a little extra aggression, Udonis Haslem won’t be a part of that group.
According to a report from the Dallas Morning News, Haslem believes in playing straight up defense no matter what the situation is, especially when a guy is playing injured.

It’s pretty cool that Haslem has already come out and said that he’s not going to play dirty basketball on the game’s biggest stage, especially when we’ve seen so many players take advantage of an injury to the opposition in the past.
Clearly, Miami doesn’t want anyone or anything to discount their NBA title should they emerge from the series as victorious.
It’s hard to blame them considering all of the criticism they’ve had to endure throughout the season.
