Braxton Miller Injury: How Long Will Ohio State QB Be Sidelined?

After Ohio State Buckeyes freshman quarterback Braxton Miller left their game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers last night with an apparent ankle injury, the first thought from the OSU faithful had to be how long will Miller be out?

As of right now there is no definite answer to how long Miller will be out, but even missing one week will be too much for OSU fans, as they saw their offense stagnate when senior quarterback Joe Bauserman took over after Miller left.

Bauserman went 1-10 and threw for 13 yards and an interception, and was a major part of the Buckeyes second half melt down.

If Bauserman is to start next week against No.16 Illinois, there should be a short leash on him, and the Buckeyes should keep sophomore quarterback Ken Guiton in mind, as he could be a better option being that he will be eager to get playing time after sitting on the bench for the better part of his two seasons with Ohio State.

The Buckeyes must act swiftly once Bauserman starts to look like he did this week in their game against Illinois. They have to pull the plug on him quick, and give the inexperienced Guiton a chance.
