2011 NFL Draft Results: Gabe Carimi Goes to Chicago Bears at No. 29
Well I believe I may have called this pick right here, but to be honest and blunt I think anybody could have called it.
The odd thing here is that Da’Quan Bowers is still on the board, and the tandem of Bowers and Peppers honestly sounds like the scariest thing I’ve heard of in a long time.
The Bears need to protect Jay Cutler though so going offensive tackle was the right thing to do.
Gabe Carimi out of Wisconsin is a great pick for the Bears at No. 29.
Carimi is your typical big Wisconsin offensive lineman so you know that he will play well in Chicago. Also keep in mind the weather will be a factor and you know Carimi will be able to handle that chilly Chicago wind.
I’m still incredibly interested to see when Da’Quan Bowers is going to go off the board.
The scary thing is he potentially could go to one of the three best teams in the NFL.
