2011 NFL Draft: Miami Dolphins Aim to Revamp Once Potent Running Game
Mark Ingram Jr. Follows In Dad's Footsteps
The Dolphins will likely be going under major changes this offseason, especially when it comes to their backfield.
Don't expect Ronnie Brown to be back, and even Ricky Williams' future in Miami should be in question.
Somewhere they are going to have to find a long-term solution and Ingram is the best back in this draft.
Even if he comes from Alabama--where he was coached by a man that Dolphins fans and ownership hate with a passion--Ingram will fit perfectly into Brian Daboll's new offense, much like Peyton Hillis did in Cleveland.
There are other needs for Miami as well, and there might be some interest in nabbing one of the top three quarterbacks should they fall to this spot. But in what could be Sporano's last year in South Florida, he will try and add a player who can help the team right now. That is most certainly Ingram.
