2011 NBA Mock Draft: Full First Round Picks, Spurs Take Kyle Singler

The San Antonio Spurs Will Make a Mistake By Taking Kyle Singler in the 2011 NBA Draft

The San Antonio Spurs are getting older every season, and it is only a matter of time before their big stars either retire or are shipped out through trades.

With the Spurs having the No. 29 pick in the 2011 NBA Draft, they may be looking to draft the player they thought Richard Jefferson was going to be when they signed him, Duke small forward Kyle Singler.

Singler is not your typical NBA small forward, and he will most likely not be a starter in his career with the Spurs. He will be a role player that comes in to eat minutes, add some points with his jump shot and gather up some rebounds.

San Antonio thinks higher of him than most experts here, and there would be a good chance that if the Spurs do take him on draft night, he will see significant minutes next season.
