What Does It Take To Be Inducted Into The WWE Hall Of Fame?

In the comment section of another article I wrote, I went to the Bleachers for my next topic.

This topic is a special request from Sharon Mott.

The question? "Why do certain people get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame so quickly (HBK) while others have to wait until they're retired or dead?"

It is a great question, and I'll try my best to answer it.

So what does it take to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame?

World Championships? An undefeated streak? Or a relationship with the boss?

Now, I'm not saying Shawn Michaels was inducted because he's good friends with Triple H or Vince McMahon, but that favoritism towards HBK might have been what got him inducted so quickly.

Why is Jimmy Hart or Jesse Ventura in the Hall of Fame?

Jesse Ventura is a one time tag-team champion and former commentator. Jimmy Hart was just a long time manager.

Why is Pete Rose in the WWE Hall of Fame?

He played baseball.

Why aren't "The Macho" Randy Savage, Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, Bruno Sammartino, and Lex Luger in the WWE Hall of Fame?

Is it because they didn't see eye-to-eye with the boss? They aren't friends with the boss. Or personal reasons. Owen Hart died in the line of duty. He was a great wrestler and is a member of the Hart Family.

When HHH retires will he be inducted into the Hall of Fame not even a year after retirement? What about poster boy John Cena?

It seems to me that in order to be inducted into the Hall of Fame you have to either work your ass off or take a shortcut and have a good relationship with the boss.

Randy Savage, Benoit, Owen Hart and Bruno Sammartino damn sure worked their asses off. Day in, day out.

Just because they don't agree with the boss on one issue they aren't allowed in the Hall of Fame?

That's total BS.

This is what superstars work their whole life for. A spot in the WWE Hall of Fame. To solidify their legacy that they have spent their whole life building.

So if Bruno Sammartino isn't inducted with his WWE Title reign of two years, then what does it take?

My answer is favoritism or hard work and a matter of keeping your mouth shut. If the boss likes you, you'll get a push. If he doesn't like you, you'll get buried.

What do you Bleachers think? Why did HBK get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame before Randy Savage, Chris Benoit, Owen Hart, Lex Luger and Bruno Sammartino?

Did I help answer your question Sharon?
