Phil Hellmuth: Will Poker Star Be A Part of "Dancing With the Stars" New Cast?
Phil Hellmuth Tweets About Taking Dance Lessons
Phil Hellmuth, an 11-time World Series of Poker bracelet holder, has been rumored to be a possible castmember of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" since last January.
But during the Super Bowl weekend Hellmuth tweeted (@phil_hellmuth): "I Took dancing lessons for a week ("1-2, 1-2-3, 1-2, 1-2-3, 1-2"); Thought I was going to be on "Dancing With The Stars!" I had a few skilz!"
Does that mean he's in or he's out?
I guess we're going to have to wait until the end of February when the show announces their new castmembers.
The show has done plenty of athletes, actors and reality stars in the past. But Hellmuth is the first poker player that may seriously be chosen.
He may be able to do some magical things on the poker table, however, we're not really that optimistic about his chances on the dance floor.
One thing's for sure, he may be entertaining to watch if he does make an appearance. Watching him learning some tough dance moves with that "Poker Brat" personality could generate a lot of laughs.
