Miami Dolphins Preseason: What Can the Dolphins Learn Against Dallas?

In their final preseason game the Miami Dolphins (0-0) take on the Dallas Cowboys (0-0) at home at 7:30 p.m.

In the eyes of the coaches and players this is the first game of the season as it will be starters playing starters for the majority of the game.

A matchup to pay close attention to is how cornerbacks Sean Smith and Vontae Davis will handle Dez Bryant and Miles Austin, two of the NFL's more talented receivers.

For the Dolphins to have one of the better defenses in the league they will be depending on Smith and Davis to continue getting better as they have in their first two seasons.

This is also a game where you would like to see the offense thrive. Last season Dallas had the 23rd ranked defense in yards allowed, and they haven't really made any improvements this offseason.
