Jose Mourinho Identifies Cesc Fabregas As Next Candidate For Real Madrid

Jose Mourinho expressed a desire to bring Cesc Fabregas from Arsenal during the Summer Transfer Window.

He is willing to pay Arsenal FC the unheard of fee of $80 Million and Florentino Perez (Real Madrid president) has given his full approval.

The purpose of such a desire for Fabregas is based on the dominance of FC Barcelona (the eternal rival of Real Madrid) in La Liga.

Real Madrid remains behind FC Barcelona in La Liga Classifications and that irritates the leadership of the club.

The question now is the possibility of a repeat of the January (2011) Transfer Windows when clubs literally broke the bank in their purchases.

Real Madrid may be taking advantage of the transfer window before stringent rules go into effect in 2012. The rules approved by UEFA stipulates that teams in European Competitions must "balance their incomes and expenses" during a three year period.

The next question is what will Arsenal do as a form of compensation for the loss of one of its principal players.

I thought that Fabregas wanted to play in Barca instead of Real Madrid under the conditions stipulated in an oral contract.

The only thing that is certain is that this story will continue during the Spring and Summer of 2011.
