Congratulations: Add Mariska Hargitay To The List Of White Folks With Black Babies
Law & Order’s MILF banger Mariska Hargitay is now the mother of a Black daughter.
Hargitay and her husband, actor Peter Hermann, welcomed newborn baby Amaya Josephine to their family a week ago. The little girl was born in Texas and was spotted in NYC with her mom – and nanny – yesterday.
Mariska and her husband, who are also the parents of a four-year-old boy named August, are said to have been trying to add to their family for a few years now.
“We were considering both international and domestic adoption and we’re thrilled that this is the way our prayers were answered,” she tells People Magazine. “We talked a lot about mixed-race adoptions, and we are very excited that we are now a multi-racial family. We’re just so happy she’s here.
“I’m deliriously happy. From the minute she was born, she was just surprisingly alert and so full of love.”
Mariska says little August is also super excited about being a big brother.
