Celebrity Support for Japans Victims (British Information)

After the horrific and catastrophic earthquake and tsunami on Friday, celebrities have not wasted any time in showing their support for the victims and doing all they can to raise funds to provide as much financial support as they can. Lady Gaga is showing her support by selling her personally designed red and white wristbands which are etched with her signature monster paw and the words 'We pray for Japan', for just $5 on her website, which also encourages fans and followers to donate further to the relief efforst on the Citizen Effect web page. And although Charlie Sheen has been dominating the news in recent weeks with his strange and self-destructive behaviour, he is at least using his notoriety for some good. He has pledged to donate $1 from every ticket which he has sold for his upcoming stand-up tour to the Red Cross to help to assist the devastated nation.
