2011 NFL Mock Draft Gives Colts Young Running Back
2011 NFL Mock Draft Pick No. 53: Ryan Williams, RB, Virginia Tech
As evidenced by last season, Peyton Manning can't do it all on his own. Even four-time league MVP have their limit. The Colts need a little more production out of their backfield in order to take some pressure out of Manning's arm.

Williams provides the Colts with more depth at the running back position and gives them a high-character guy not prone to fumbles and has soft hands as a receiver.
After Joseph Addai went down last season, the Colts saw themselves struggle for a big because of their lack of options in the backfield. Having Williams this year should help solidify that position.
