2011 NFL Draft: Will The Steelers Trade Up For Mike Pouncey?

Maurkice Pouncey Shows Drafting Brother Would Be A 'Can't Miss' Pick

The Steelers, win or lose on Sunday, still will have a lot of work to do in rebuilding their offensive line. They'll have Willie Colon back next year, and Maurkice Pouncey will be back to anchor that line, but there's still more that needs to be done.

Enter Mike Pouncey, the twin brother who stayed one more year in college. The Steelers already have to have their eyes on this guy, and now are wondering if they're going to have to trade up to get him.

Right now offensive lineman are projected to start moving off the board in the middle of the first round. The Steelers won't draft any higher than 31st, and there's no guarantee Pouncey still will be there for the taking.

The Steelers aren't known to do a lot of dealing on draft day, especially when it comes to moving up. But if there's any player the Steelers should move up for, it would be Mike Pouncey. He's as close to a "can't miss" draft pick as you can possibly find.

They already know what they have in Maurkice, and Mike is extremely similar. Plus, the two have proved they work well together, and that would finally give the Steelers an offensive line to be feared, something they haven't had in quite some time.
