Who Will the Chicago Bulls take in the NBA Draft?
Chicago has two first round picks thanks to Miami via Toronto. Both picks will be close to each other, which means if the Bulls really like a player they could move up to get him. However, I don't see that happening in this draft, so the Bulls will just pick up two players.
Chicago could really use a star type player at the shooting guard position, but that wil be difficult to find this late in the draft. I have them drafting the super athletic Travis Leslie to join the platoon of shooting guards the Bulls run with.
It's obvious that Chicago doesn't need an excellent shooter at the two spot because Derrick Rose is essentially both the one and the two. He scores a ton of points as well as several assists per game. Bringing in Leslie would give this team someone who can jump out of the gym. Leslie was a human highlight reel at Georgia.
He has declared for the draft, but he hasn't hired an agent. I have a very good feeling he won't be returning to school next year. He'll be a late frist round pick and a nice fit in Chicago. He's a different type of two guard than what the Bulls have, so it will be a nice change of pace when he steps on the court.
He is a solid rebounder for a guard having dominated the glass for the Bulldogs. Leslie averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game last season. Chicago will love having this high flying guard join their roster.
