2011 NBA Finals: Dallas Mavericks vs. Miami Heat Drawing Big Ratings?

2011 NBA Finals Continue to Draw Ratings Between Mavericks and Heat

The Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat are a few hours away from tip off of Game 4 in the NBA Finals, a series that is doing as well as any in the last seven years.

According to ESPN's numbers, the Finals are grabbing an average of 15.3 million viewers so far in the first three games.

On top of that, "Ratings are up 15 percent over the last Miami-Dallas series in 2006. Viewership is up slightly over last year's series between traditional powers Boston and the Los Angeles Lakers."

The Miami Heat are quite the draw, mostly because people want to see LeBron James lose.

In his second NBA Finals appearance, LeBron isn't playing well in the clutch, but that is why he teamed up with Dwyane Wade.

Wade is, once again, doing what he does best on the biggest stage.

The Heat's remaining star from the 2006 run is at the top of his game once again and people are tuning in to watch.

Tonight's Game 4 will take place at 9 pm EST on ABC.
